Nextway: Helping insurers scale through streamlined document management
Some insurers still manage documents across different systems, sometimes even in paper format, leading to inefficiencies and difficulties in scaling. Nextway helps insurers scale through streamlined document management. Their solution ‘Next Digital Workplace’ consolidates all documents into one customer-centric digital foundation, seamlessly integrating with insurers’ existing systems. This centralised hub digitises all documents and enables automation, making processes and document retrieval faster and more efficient.
By centralising their documents and automating tedious tasks, insurers can focus on growing their business and keeping customers happy. Nextway transforms the way insurers work, making everything simpler, faster, and more efficient.
Nextway boasts a robust 38-year track record in the industry. Their solution has been continuously evolving alongside their customers. This longevity and deep experience ensure that Next Digital Workplace remains a reliable and continuously refined solution, well-equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of insurers and financial institutions.
How it works
Nextway is an all-in-one eDMS solution. With all business-critical information in one place, insurers can seamlessly swap systems and scale up with peace of mind, knowing that security and compliance are fully managed. Centralising everything lets insurers automate repetitive tasks like claims processing and mailroom handling, boosting efficiency and freeing up time for what matters. This speeds up service, enhances client satisfaction and integrates their omnichannel ecosystem for a seamless experience.
Why did we select Nextway for ITC DIA Europe?
With Nextway, companies have a faster time to market. They can consolidate their IT Landscapes with fewer suppliers. And finally, it’s an excellent example of a company that can help insurers to go from legacy to digital archive.
Nextway is already a trusted partner to several leading insurers in the and German-speaking markets. Among others, clients include Talanx, SWICA, Storebrand, Fennia, and the Alm Brand Group.
At ITC DIA Europe Amsterdam 2024, Annette Weber, Senior Vice President Insurance at Nextway, took the stage to show Next Digital Workplace to our audience.
Who is Nextway?
Nextway is majority-owned by Main Capital Partners, a leading software investor with approximately EUR 6 billion in assets under management, focused on B2B platform software companies in the Benelux, DACH, Nordics, and the United States.
It was founded in 1986 by Kim Hellum, who is part of the leadership team as CTO, Products & SaaS. Under the leadership of CEO Thomas Hougaard-Enevoldsen, Nextway operates globally, with a strong presence in the Nordics and DACH regions.
“We started Nextway out of sheer frustration. Seeing people struggle with paper documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, and emails to get the job done. Even when they have the best business systems in place. That’s why we created Nextway: to make companies more efficient and people's life at work easier” - Thomas Hougaard-Enevoldsen, CEO, Nextway
